Duffley Law is a law firm based in the northwest Houston area, focusing on real estate and small business law. We are expanding!

We are looking for a full-time paralegal to join our hybrid team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drafting: Drafting effective & precise documents, whether they be contracts, court filings, or other documents. Create templates for re-use by the team.
• Filings: Prepare filings for court proceedings, recording, and other purposes as necessary.
• Summarize Documents: Prepare abstracts and summaries of documents for attorney review & input key dates into team calendars.
• Onboarding Clients: Collecting additional information and documents after the intake team has completed the initial client onboarding.
• Assisting Attorneys: Assisting attorneys as necessary to provide excellent service to clients!

Responsibilities:

• Billable hours requirement of 1,200 per year.
• Weekly check-in calls with managing attorney.
• Some weekend availability will be expected depending on client demands.

Qualifications:

• At least 3 years of law firm experience.
• Experience or clear interest in estate planning law.
• Excellent writing skills and eye for detail.
• Proficiency in legal research tools and software.
• Effective communication skills to interact with clients & colleagues.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
